Dr. R. Erdem Erkul, Technology Entrepreneur, is one of the founders of Cerebrum Tech and vice-president of the Council of European Professional Informatics Societies (CEPIS).

On December 2020, he was elected to the Board of Directors of the Global Entrepreneurship Network (GEN) Turkey. Since the early 2022, he is the President of the Digital Technology Business Council of the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Türkiye (DEIK).

He worked in several positions in Microsoft US- Middle East and North Africa regions for many years. He most recently worked as the Director of Public Sector & Investments of Microsoft Middle East and Africa and Turkey.

He worked at Samsung Electronics Türkiye as a director and company spokesperson between 2014 and 2018.

Dr. Erkul is known for his work in e-Government, environment and climate, metaverse, new generation technologies, Web 2.0 and Web 3.0, online participation, and entrepreneurship.
