Oğuz Hamşioğlu PhD, having completed his bachelor's degree at Ankara University Faculty of Political Sciences, his master's degree at Cleveland State University in the USA and his doctorate degree at Hacettepe University, Hamşioğlu served as a Local Administrative Supervisor at the Ministry of Interior, Expert, Project Coordinator, Head of Personnel and Training Department and Head of Strategy Development Department at the Undersecretariat for Defence Industries prior to his appointment as Secretary General of SASAD. He also worked at the Prime Ministry and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency. After his retirement, Dr. Hamşioğlu served as the General Director of EU and Foreign Relations at the Ministry of Industry and Technology and worked as a lecturer at various universities. Hamşioğlu, who transferred his experience in public service and academia to young generations, has made important services in the field of defense industry. Oğuz Hamşioğlu PhD, Dwho has made significant contributions to the Turkish Defense Industry, currently continues his role as the Secretary General of the Defence and Aerospace Industry Manufacturers Association (SASAD).
